WelcomeWelcome to Lotto Predict, a simple statistical excercise based on the UK's National lottery. The system will generate a prediction based on previous draw histories (as well as generating random lucky dips). Realistically, the likelihood of correctly predicting all draw balls remains more or less the same. Whilst it may be possible to lend additional weight to some predictions, as the draw is random there's very little that can be done to accurately predict! In other words, feel free to use the generated numbers, but understand there's no guarantee that they will come out!How it worksThe system works simply by examining which numbers appeared in previous draws, and then calculating how frequently that number appears as a percentage. This is then used to weight a statistical likelihood that the ball will re-appear, based on additional factors such as whether or not the ball appeared in the last draw.It doesn't look very nice! This site is simply a front-end to the Lotto Predict API, it's quite carelessly thrown together (with tables for layout - yeuch!) in order to test the API. Those choosing to use the API won't need to suffer the poor design on this site, as all output from the API is JSON encoded. You can find out more on the page About Lotto Predict |
